What a fun weekend! I'm glad her birthday came on a weekend this year, because typically we try to do the party on the 4th of July when everyone has plans. 2008 made it easy for us, bringing her birthday on Saturday.
The party was fun, but way too much preparation, and even MORE clean-up. next year we need to plan better.
Sunday was the best, though. We went to the downtown Aquarium for all the attractions. Following that we took kiran to her first real movie at the cinema. We saw Wall-E, an awesome pixar flick.
You really have to block out an entire day to do everything at the Aquarium. There is a ferris wheel, carousel, train that goes through a 200,000 gallon shark tank, other rides and games, and at least an hour of viewing fish tanks: squirrel fish, lionfish, swordfish, paranas, octopus, eel, jelly fish, HUGE fish!ha. They had everything. We even pet sting ray! They are slimey like you'd expect.
