It's not like I don't have plenty going on to talk about. My busy life (at work and at home) keeps me separated from this page and making frequent updates.
I'll open with Kiran. She's doing pretty good these days, and Jacyln your coin system is working fabulously. We still deal with a good amount of fits, but there has been a very significant reduction I think. It's just a hair away from our older system but it seems to fit just right. If any stressed and defeated parents out there are dealing with an insubordinate toddler, just email me for more info on the coin system! ;-)
We just unloaded about $450 at Target the other day getting school clothes, school supplies, etc etc etc etc. I'd say she's all ready to go now minus one notebook. That was unbelievable. I'm in shock at how much she has grown from last year. Basically very few of the 4T clothes fit anymore and she JUST turned 5. sigh.
Now we have a pretty remarkable situation with Oliver and his broken collar bone. His crib was converted to a "Big-Boy Bed" on Saturday, and the excitement and curiosity was just far too much to resist for Kiran and Oliver. They absolutely had to jump on this bed because it was just too overwhelming to pass up. Bright idea. I don't know many times we told them not to and pulled them off of the bed. Oliver actually took a successful 3 hour nap in and it was great. But once he woke, the thrill of it came rushing back. Guess what happens?
BOIIING! BOUNCE! THUD! CRACK!
Poor dude. His sling is the most pitiful and heartbreaking thing I have ever seen. Just see for yourself.

You wouldn't know he was hurt the way he continues to carry on. ;-)
