Happy 4th Birthday, Coop!

What a fun weekend! I'm glad her birthday came on a weekend this year, because typically we try to do the party on the 4th of July when everyone has plans. 2008 made it easy for us, bringing her birthday on Saturday.

The party was fun, but way too much preparation, and even MORE clean-up. next year we need to plan better.
Sunday was the best, though. We went to the downtown Aquarium for all the attractions. Following that we took kiran to her first real movie at the cinema. We saw Wall-E, an awesome pixar flick.
You really have to block out an entire day to do everything at the Aquarium. There is a ferris wheel, carousel, train that goes through a 200,000 gallon shark tank, other rides and games, and at least an hour of viewing fish tanks: squirrel fish, lionfish, swordfish, paranas, octopus, eel, jelly fish, HUGE fish!ha. They had everything. We even pet sting ray! They are slimey like you'd expect.

nemo and dory!

Wimberly, you are the best!

We had a blast camping during the weekend of Daddy's 30th birthday! There was little time for naps you see, but the kids still made it home without any major upsets.

For those not familiar, Wimberly is just a few miles from San Marcus with it's own access to the river for tubing, a central downtown area with at least one really great restaurant, and several amazing deals on cabins. We hope to visit 7a resort again REAL soon.

Now you can witness the fun!

Lets back track a minute!

All the way to Coop's graduation!

Gammy came all the way down from Dallas just to be with her, which you know just meant the world to my coop.

There were cute performances from all the different classes, but Ms. Ganaways class did the best in my opinion! I had no idea my frenzied little 3 (now 4) year old could be so shy!

well, at least she wasn't "before" the performance!

i mean take a look at her gearing up the night before! I really thought we had a wild one on our hands!

brother sure was sleepy, though. we payed attention for him of course.

And FINALLY...some shots of the whole family. Photo credit goes to Joni, thanks for finally getting us a group picture! Even if it's in a hallway with 2 seconds to prepare!

WEIGH-IN #4

I'm a few days behind on posting due to a very successful and fascinating 4th birthday for Kiran. I'll have TONS to post for you on that topic coming up.

It's nice to brag about my weight for Friday, but not so much for today. As I mentioned, there was a party, there was cake, there were chips and dips, sodas, and the list goes on.

Friday: 137-138.
That QUICKLY moved up to 139.6 and even this morning like 141. 142 with all my clothes on and wet hair!ha.

So, my mini goal for the week is try to attend a pilates class once or twice and really get back on track with that. It's been over a month since i've gone, and what I really have found is that if I don't discipline my exercies, then i surely won't be encouraged to follow my diet. Those go hand and hand.

The good part is that according to Friday morning it looked as if i lost 13lbs total. But today I'm at 9lbs...and really I'm back at square one because this is the weight I've pretty much been at since Olivers birth. So it's like I've lost nothing but I'm still so happy to not be up at 150 like I hovered at for a few weeks. EWWW, GROSS!
