Kiran had that happy nervous look on her face to walk down the aisle and see her whole family looking on at her. Oliver even stopped squirming when he noticed her which he sometimes only does if he needs to poop....silly kid.
The koops got probably the best award she could have received! Best Spanish Acquisition! As daddy pointed out...this is why we're sending her to a magnet dual language program! This shows we're doing the work with her at home, she's getting it done in class, and she's moving ahead! So many kids got the "teachers help" "Most Outgoing" "Important reader" award....we don't need that, we want to know we're getting what we need out of the school to see our daughter succeed! At that point they were cutting awards short so she may come home with more they didn't announce. It wouldn't surprise me to see one for artistic ability, she's come so far with her art. We have some video but for now this is what you have!
