I owe you. I really, really owe you! I'll just post some current pics (all from cell phone) and add a caption to each. I can't wait to snag the awesome ones from my nice camera!

First up - our trip to The Downtown Aquarium. We had Isaac along with us, so there is extra cuteness in these pics!

BACK TO MY ROOTS

My roots as in my BLONDE ROOTS that are sticking half an inch out of my head right now!
There is a nifty little website that allows you to do virtual hairstyles, makeup, and so forth. I went in to get an idea of what I look like as....ME.

I have been dying my hair since I was 13. I won't name the rainbow of colors I went through (nothing too crazy!) but for the most part I was a red-head for a LOOONG time. About 8 years before trying anything else. As you all know me now, i've been brunette, back to red, back to blonde once more while pregnant with Kiki, then back to brunette again parading a few blonde streaks every once in a while!

So these images below are fun little snapshots of what my final outcome COULD be! Of course my hair could all fall out from the processing, who knows. And please - this is a very vague idea of what my results will be. (the red was just for fun! i'll always be a red-head at heart!). I went ahead and did all 3 blonds they offered so I could just look. I think the second, beigh/ash blonde is pretty true to my natural color but I'll have Ashley determine that when she gets a good look at my roots. I've seen them in the last 6 years so I do know that it's still pretty light, and not dark blonde like some hair will get. I'd be okay with either really.

I'll be honest, i am a bit frightened. Friday at 3 I will meet my fate. How do you think it'll turn out? Will I look good as ME?

Someone made an impression! :-)

If you don't want to watch all of this (which you should because it looks like a fantastic movie), then at the very end you can hear Robert Pattinson give shout outs to Houston! I don't want to think my FIVE hours with them had anything to do with it! Hahahaha. Oh, the ego. He also said in an MTV interview that Houston was his favorite city in the US, and that he had the funnest time there and enjoyed the people.

Bike Rides

The cleveland clan had a pretty great weekend. We all realize it's about to be an explosive one thousand degrees so our "mild" weekend was spent mostly outdoors. Daddy planted plenty in the garden, including the tomato plants that kids and I got at the market, and their sunflower seeds.
An awesome bike ride on Saturday with the Dugat's left us drained! I was so proud of Kiran for going as long and far as she did. She's outgrown her bike but we'll have to stick with it until the training wheels come off.

All these pictures were taken with my effects apps mostly, or put into some sort of filter, so sorry if it's too much to look at. I love the baby batman. It's a "symmetry" lens that we had a lot of fun with.

Renovations

Lots going down at the Walling House. We've sort of been in "project mode" for 4 years, but somethings are just now getting done. New oven, new flooring in all rooms except the bathroom, new 2" Shutter Blinds, Sofa Couchins replaced for different color, etc. We'll soon be painging and I hope to post some more pics.

Celebrating Kiran

I found some old pics of Kiran today and when i have pictures of kids, this is typically where they end up! It's really a trip looking at old photo's sometimes. When you have young kids, they can change so much in just 4 years that you might look at the pictures and think it was a lifetime ago.

She's so beautiful. My little honor roll girl!

In Memory of Maddie

It seems like we're loosing our 4-legged loved ones left and righ these days. I just thought I would display the beautiful bond that Oliver, well BOTH kids without a doubt, had with Maddie. Both on four "legs" to make that bond even closer!

Every visit to Dallas, she was one of the first to greet us. Oliver and Kiran would naturally say hi to her last because when Gammy and Pops wait with open arms at the doorway it's just too hard to refuse that welcoming hug from them!

I miss you, Maddie. Gammy, Kiran wan write you a poem if you would love to have that.
